Thrane Service Partnership – Mackay Marine Service is proud to partner with Thrane & Thrane (COBHAM) offering two distinct types of service for Thrane products – OnBoard Service Centers (OSC) and Thrane Regional Work Shop (RWS) Americas (products shipped for repair). See details of both programs below:
Thrane On-Board Service Centers (OSC):
Mackay hosts three Thrane On-Board Service Centers (the most of any global Thrane service agent). An OSC is designed to provide premier service for Thrane and SAILOR brand marine radio and satellite communications equipment. Thrane stipulates that OSCs staff a minimum of two factory–trained technicians; stock a full range of spare parts, and achieve exemplary first-time-fix-rates.

Thrane Regional Work Shop (RWS)
Mackay Marine represents Thrane Regional Work Shop (RWS) for the Americas, as one of five external global RWS centers. The mission of Thrane RWS is to provide swift, economic, factory-quality repair on any Thrane portable equipment that can be shipped to the Regional Work Shop.
RWS services Mini-C, Inmarsat C (TT3020C, TT3005M & TT3606E through 3/15), SAILOR FleetBroadBand 150, 250 & 500 (Below-Deck Units and Antennas), Mini-M’s, and land-based broadband satellite terminals (EXPLORER Portable BGANs EX300, EX500/510, & EX700/710, and Vehicular BGANs EX325 & EX727).

To Initiate RWS Equipment Repair
- Complete, save, and email or fax the editable RMA pdf Form (Return Materials Authorization)
- Mackay will respond with approval & shipping instructions.
