The Jotron Tron 40VDR EPIRB Float Free Capsule is a combined Cospas-Sarsat and MED approved Float Free EPIRB, as well as a storage medium.

The 40VDR Float – Free Capsule is designed according to the latest requirements for performance standards. A VDR system and the recorded data stored in the final recording medium can be a vital contributor to identify the cause of any accident for investigators.  Jotron’s Tron 40VDR EPIRB design and innovative technology provides a maintenance friendly product for the shipowner.

This product complies with the latest VDR performance standards set forth by IMO MSC.333 (90).   The separate VDR storage module contains the standard 64GB memory capacity.
