Furuno FS1575 & FS2575 MF/HF Shipboard Radiotelephones facilitating general and GMDSS communications with an integrated DSC/DSC Watch Receiver.
These flexible units can operate simultaneously as a DSC transceiver and a DSC Watch Receiver on all distress and safety frequencies in MF and HF bands. Option to connect an IB585 NBDP terminal to the transceiver for maritime telex operation, and distress message and/or maritime safety information handling.
Features for both the FS1575 and FS2575 include a bright, high-contrast 4.3″ color LCD (480×272 pixels) with multiple display configurations, as well as a Night Mode (white text on black background) for wheelhouse operation. 256 user-specified channel selections available via rotary knob or direct keypad input, with dedicated keys for quick access to DSC message composition. Full-Duplex kits are optional.
Both the FS1575 and FS2575 fully comply with GMDSS carriage requirements for SOLAS ships in A3 and A4 Sea Areas, and meet ITU recommendation on digital selective calling system for use in the Maritime Mobile Service, ITU-R M.493-13.
