A Busy Week at NAVALSHORE 2024 in Rio!

Mackay is pleased to report that Marintec Sud/Navalshore 2024 (Aug. 20-22) was the busiest, most productive event in the 5+ years since Mackay Brazil began exhibiting. Even the last day was teeming with visitors!

In addition to promoting our global & South American nav/com electronics and service capabilities, Mackay showcased several value-added systems.

Thanks to our global partner Intellian Technologies , the OW11FM ENTERPRISE system was on display; Intellian’s flat-panel antenna, operating on the OneWeb Eutelsat high speed LEO Network. Many were pleased to see the system first-hand and hear about a powerful alternative to the Starlink antenna. All look forward to its release in the very near future!

Likewise, visitors were keenly interested in Radars from Rutter Inc. , with their full array of features that meet the new Petrobras specifications.

Partner, Port-IT B.V. Rick Bakker joined us from the Netherlands and shared their flexible Cybersecurity and Network Management service packages to address the critical need to safeguard maritime data and system security; while meeting the upcoming IMO regulations. In addition…. Mackay Brazil began celebrating our 8^th year in Brazil with four onsite port locations from which we service most all Brazilian ports.
